devine inspiration
At the moment we're working on our new collection, this is an exciting time and for us, it's the most fun part of what we do. It's a time when we can let our imaginations run wild and it's a good excuse for cutting out snippets from magazines, collecting postcards and bits of fabric that we love. It either goes one of two ways 1)We discuss, plan, trawl through swatches and swatches of fabric, visit and revisit shops and then finally it all comes together and Anita does her thing and the result is a gorgeous baby quilt or 2) we recklessly stumble across a stand out fabric and everything else just falls into place. Some of the things that are inspiring us right now include starlings, fire engine red and duck egg blue together, the 'I want to be in America' dresses in West Side Story, Finnish fabrics on the nord living website and combinations of aqua and chocolate. Plus chocolate. Let us know what's inspiring you.

Mathilda's Markets
We love taking part in Mathilda's Markets and Melbourne's latest was no exception. Hawthorne town hall was a gorgeous location and dedicated mums, dads, kids, grandparents and friends packed the place out. There was a good variety of stall holders too and some really gorgeous kids goodies on offer. We had a successful day, we found that we sold lots of our mini quilts (which are a great size for the first year and really portable). As a result we have some new mini quilts on offer on our website and we'll make them part of our next collection, due out May/June.
New Collection
Is it really April already? We have been furiously working on our new collection of baby bedding which is due out May/June and features some beautiful new fabrics, plenty of vibrant colours and will be available in a variety of sizes including cot, crib, stroller and even available in singles for your child's first big bed! Our summer collection is still available from our site, here's one of our favourites, Secret Garden.
